The app is being prepared for App Store review; the download link will appear here once it is live.

Features

Start without an account and without granting location. Permissions are requested only when you open the related feature, and only as far as it needs.

Free dhikr game

The tasbih counter and dhikr game are free to use as a guest. No account, subscription or in-app purchase is required.

On-device qibla

The qibla direction is computed on the device from its compass and location sensors. Permission is requested only when you open the qibla screen, and updates stop when you close it.

Diyanet-sourced prayer times

Times for the province and district you choose come from a calendar sourced from Türkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) and verified on the Zikir server. The countdown to the next prayer sits on the home screen.

Offline calendar

A previously downloaded valid calendar opens without an internet connection. Dates outside its range are reported clearly; no estimated times are invented.

Optional location

Location permission is not required. If you grant it, GPS suggests an approximate province and you pick the district. Your exact coordinates are not sent with the calendar request and no location history is kept.

Worship history encrypted on device

Prayer, fasting, dhikr and personal goal history is kept only on this device, encrypted, behind a separate optional permission. It is never synced to the account, the store or any AI service.

Account and data deletion

An account is optional. Inside the app you will find separate paths to delete local history, clear all local data and delete the account, with no need to contact support.

Local Chat

In-app help runs on limited prepared answers stored on the device. What you type is not sent to an external AI service and is not shared with other users.

Privacy and trust

Worship is personal. Zikir App is designed to keep it on your device; what is stored where is spelled out below.

  • Encrypted local recordsWorship history is encrypted on the device and excluded from device backups and the cloud. Withdrawing the permission deletes the local history.
  • No tracking, no adsThere is no ad network, analytics tracking or social feed in the app. Local Chat does not call an external AI.
  • Permissions as neededLocation and worship-history permissions are separate and requested only while you use the related feature. Free features work without granting any.
  • Published legal textsThe privacy notice (Turkish KVKK disclosure) and terms of use are published; the same version is reachable from inside the app and from this page.
In preparation

Physical product showcase

The store section shows prayer beads and similar physical products as a showcase only. Order taking will open once the seller, delivery, stock, tax and payment-provider preparation is complete. Until then the app takes no payments and asks for no card details.

Frequently asked questions

Is the app free?

The dhikr game, qibla and prayer times are free; there is no subscription or in-app purchase. The store section shows physical products as a showcase only.

Do I need an account?

No. The free features work as a guest. An account is optional, for profile, address and the order flow that will open later, and the sign-in email is verified.

Where do the prayer times come from?

Times for the province and district you choose are sourced from Türkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) and verified on the Zikir server before reaching the app. A previously downloaded valid calendar is shown offline too; no estimate is produced for dates outside its range.

Is location permission required?

No. You can choose the province and district manually. If you grant it, GPS suggests an approximate province and you still pick the district. For qibla, permission is requested only when the qibla screen opens. Exact coordinates are not sent with the calendar request and no location history is kept.

Where is my worship history stored?

Only on your device, encrypted. Keeping records requires a separate permission; withdrawing it deletes the local history. This data is never transferred to the account, the store or any AI service.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, Profile → Privacy, Permissions and Data Deletion offers deleting local history, clearing all local data and “Delete My Account”. Local cleanup and server-side account deletion are separate operations. If you cannot reach it, write to support; never send your password.

Can I order from the store?

Not yet. The store currently shows physical products as a showcase. Order taking will open once the seller, delivery, stock, tax and payment-provider preparation is complete.

Where can I download the app?

Zikir App is being prepared for iOS and will be submitted for App Store review. The download link will appear on this page once it is live.
